Communications + PR: Sick Daze

What is the health of your organization  — literally.  How many employees are calling out sick and legitimately so?  A high rate of absence can signal emotional fatigue and burnout as well as physical illness.  It can be epidemic in organizations, espcially small ones where your employees work so hard to fulfill your mission. 

 Look after their emotional health — do they feel valued?  are their jobs well-defined? do they know what to expect daily? This is a big one we will revisit again and again.

 Look after their physical health — are they always working through lunch? do they have access to sunshine and light? water? good ventilation? clean environment?
