MY STORY
I’ve been doing this work for close to 20 years and I am grateful for every minute spent with every client. Following my experience with breast cancer and the loss of both my parents, grandmother and mother-in-law within 2 years, I dug deep to provide a level of emotional resilience for myself, my two young daughters and husband. I then took the lessons learned and became a Life Coach. I know that the quality of our lives depends on how we live each day. Given that so much of our days are spent working, I want women to achieve success, bringing energy and balance to their businesses. As your business coach, I am free of judgement as I attune to all your communication including words, pauses, sighs and smiles.
My professional background began as a teacher at the Pennsylvania School for the Deaf, giving me advanced skills in interpersonal communication. Becoming a coach through Coach U brought these skills and more to a new arena. As a solopreneur, I attended Wharton School’s Small Business Development Program in addition to years of experience in marketing, development and communications at ad agencies and non-profit organizations. Recent certification as a Health and Nutrition Coach from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition adds to my holistic approach. Each part of this professional journey is of benefit to my clients as I bring focus, clarity, information, empathy and intuition to each session.
With a client’s permission, I sometimes use salty words that seem to work. And, with a client’s permission, I may ask a lovingly confrontative question. I hear what is said and more importantly, what is not said. If we work together, you will learn that I believe in the regenerative power of fun and celebration. I think that we forget these things as we pursue successful businesses but in reality, how we replenish the well and support our whole self is directly related to business success. Right now, I am obsessively knee-deep in the world of fabric art, the history of textiles, embroidery and more. It happened over the past year and I am in heaven.
